Marais Private Walking Tour – 3 hours to discover famous landmark and hidden gems of the Marais
Today the Marais is one of the most popular Parisian districts and the reason is simple. In a small area you can find authentic traces of the long gone Medieval Paris, with half timbered houses, huge walls and cellars dating back to the XIII century. You can discover the Jewish district, with the old synagogue, the traditional bakeries and the Israeli street food. You can admire Place des Vosges and the elegant aristocratic mansions built between the XVI century and the French Revolution. You can taste the best crepes in Paris, enjoy a street food market, walk up to Place de la Republique and explore the “temple’ district with its new and fashionable stores or reach the Centre Pompidou, famous for its coloured facade.
Follow me in this private tour to discover the history, the legends, the secrets of this incredible district where everything is changing and, in the same time, everything is always the same.
This is a walking tour but on request I can arrange a private transportation.
